About the Role

Position Summary

Solero Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large, professional organization. The DevOps Engineer will manage the integration of software development and IT operations to improve application delivery, automation, security, and system reliability.

This position will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, support cloud and hybrid environments, and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
Manage source code repositories and version control using Git and related platforms.
Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Monitor application performance, system health, logging, and operational metrics.
Implement deployment automation, configuration management, and release management processes.
Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, cloud engineers, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity professionals.
Implement and support containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Support disaster recovery, backup, high availability, and business continuity initiatives.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, deployment, and performance issues.
Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and deployment standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable organizational governance, accessibility, cybersecurity, security, and operational standards.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for leadership.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of three (3) years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation experience.

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications


Five (5) or more years of DevOps engineering experience.

Experience supporting large organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, or other public-sector environments.

Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar certification.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, SonarQube, Nexus, and monitoring platforms.

Experience supporting enterprise ERP, HRIS, finance, procurement, or other mission-critical applications.
