About the Role
Position Summary
Solero Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives within a large, professional organization.
The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately identified, analyzed, documented, and translated into functional solutions that improve operational efficiency and support organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering meetings.
Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and process maps.
Analyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Coordinate issue tracking, resolution, and change requests.
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Support implementation, change management, end-user training, and post-production validation.
Prepare project documentation, reports, recommendations, and executive presentations.
Ensure compliance with applicable organizational governance, accessibility, security, and operational standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional Business Analyst experience.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
Experience supporting software implementation or technology transformation projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) or more years of Business Analyst experience.
Experience supporting large organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, or other public-sector environments.
CBAP, PMI-PBA, CCBA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, SharePoint, and Visio.
